Notes: From Anderson: Contains illustrations of 76 flags and goes on to discuss the parts of a ship, her rigging and her accommodation. This part has two plates, a ship with numbered rigging and another cut in half lengthwise. The former is a copy of the ship in Allard's first edition, but the numbering is different, and the description of the rigging is very much fuller than his. There was another edition in 1702 and a third in 1715.
